INFRASTRUCTURE
Transurban M2 Motorway: CSE upgraded, redeveloped and maintained the PLC and SCADA system for the M2 Motorway in Sydney. The system consisted of a distributed GE PLC system with Citect SCADA operator interfaces. The system controlled and / or monitored tunnel lighting, exhaust fans, emergency warning and evacuation systems, fire and sprinkler systems, power and generator systems.
Country Energy Gas SCADA: A Citect SCADA system provides the front end for the remote monitoring and control of the Country Energy Wagga SCADA system. The system monitors 7 gas control sites at Bombala, Bomen, Cooma, Gundagai, Illabo, Tumut and Uranquinty in SE NSW. Each site is controlled and monitored by a site RTU. All the information from the site RTUs are transmitted to a master Kingfisher Series II RTU located in Wagga. Citect interacts mainly with the master RTU to collect data from each site for display to operators in the main control room.
Water Pumping Stations: CSE has designed and installed numerous control and monitoring systems for potable and waste water pumping stations. This ranges from multi-station, multi-pump potable water pumping systems with water monitoring throughout the system; large waste water pumping stations with automated reporting and alarm systems; storm water catchment tanks and pumping systems for tunnels and road underpasses; and small localised sewer pumping stations.
Multi Storey Car Parks: Multi storey car parks require numerous control systems for status and alarm monitoring to ensure their safe operation. Systems include lighting control of each level for energy management, safety and security; exhaust monitoring; fire pumps & sprinklers; lifts; moving walkways and storm water pumps. CSE has installed systems at four car parks at Sydney Airport in the International and Domestic terminals.
